Salmon Ghost honors the final act of generational love — when salmon return to their birthplace, give life, and then begin to decay, feeding the land, water, and kin. This design reflects both beauty and grief, a reminder of what we owe to those who came before and what we must protect for those yet to come. Rooted in Indigenous stories of the Salmon People, this work warns: when gratitude disappears, so do the salmon. If we fail to care for their habitat, we may be left with only their ghosts. A love letter. A warning. A call to remember.
